Sega have announced that the recently popular Japanese arcade game, Brick People, will be releasing on iOS devices this Autumn. The family-friendly game is played in arcades by stacking actual bricks in front of the video screen to allow the game's hungry little creatures to reach their favourite snacks.
"Players of all ages have really gotten hooked on Brick People in arcades," said Haruki Satomi, Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA. "The concept of using actual bricks to play a video game is unique, but it's instantly accessible, like handing somebody a set of blocks. It's a timeless activity that resonates with everybody, and we know it's going to translate well to touch-screens."
It is not yet clear if the game will support LEGO compatablilty but taking an educated guess, I would say no. Other 'existing' features comprise of Game Center support and Wi-Fi enabled multiplayer for two players to compete in head-to-head battles.
