Capcom have confirmed and announced that Monster Hunter will be making its way to the 3DS. Monster Hunter 3G sounds to be an updated version of Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii.
Fans can expect a lot of extra content that comes alongside a 'G' release. Local wireless co-operative will be available, although no other online mode has been confirmed. There will be 12 weapon types and water stages from Monster Hunter Tri will return. The game will also take advantage of the 3DS' touchscreen: touching the screen will automatically turn the camera towards a monster.
Apparently, the light and heavy bowgun have been 'streamlined,' although there are no details on that at the moment. The game's mascot will be the Black Dios. Finally, it's scheduled for a late 2011 release in Japan.
