Rockstar has announced that their old-school, gritty slow motion shooter Max Payne is set to come to a slew of mobile devices later this year.
"Today we're pleased to announce that this gritty action classic will receive the full HD treatment for mobile devices later this fall. The game will include connectivity and support from the Rockstar Games Social Club and boast the same features as its PC counterpart, including HD graphics and high-resolution textures, and will also take full advantage of the latest mobile technologies with deep customizable controls," read Rockstar's statement.
Outside of its vague promise, Rockstar was pretty sparse with the exact details of the game's release. The company didn't clarify which mobile devices it was referring to, not specifying whether it would appear on Android, iOS or -- God forbid -- Symbian powered machines.
Nor did it give an exact release date for the game, instead simply stating fans should "[s]tay tuned for more details in the coming weeks."
