The Electronic Sports League, ESL for short, has announced a new partnership with pro-gaming hardware manufacturer Razer for the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters, a competitive gaming event that kicks off this weekend on October 1.
"With every Intel Extreme Masters event we break our previous streaming records and we are extremely pleased that we will be sharing this experience together with Razer, a company that loves gaming as much as we do," said Sven Hoffman, Managing Director of Turtle Entertainment TV.
"The Intel Extreme Masters are a fantastic competition," added Razer USA President Robert 'RazerGuy' Krakoff. "Its global character, highly intense matches and professional broadcasting over the past seasons has continually drawn massive viewership. We're happy to keep supporting such an awesome event that raises the profile of eSports globally."
The even will be hosted in Guangzhou, China from October 1 to October 5, featuring competitive games like StarCraft 2, Counter-Strike 1.6 and League of Legends, all of which will be broadcasted live and in high definition.
