Square Enix have announced a little something that fans have been waiting a long time for. No, not a Final Fantasy VII remake, that's in a league of its own, but an HD release of Final Fantasy X.
With the upcoming 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy X on the horizon, Square Enix's Shinji Hashimoto revealed that the HD release will be available on both the PS3 and the PlayStation Vita, which is due out December 17 in Japan.
Square Enix did not reveal anything else, not even show images or videos of the HD re-release. At the very least, it's great news to know the Final Fantasy developer is starting to fart out HD releases of their biggest franchise. Perhaps they'll announce Final Fantasy XII HD soon enough - and hopefully it'll be the International Zodiac Job System.
