Tecmo Koei unveiled a couple of surprises at their Tokyo Game Show 'Ninja Unmask 2011' event, including the announcement of Dead or Alive 5 and the unmasking of Ninja Gaiden III's online multiplayer mode.
The 'Ninja World' mode pits 8 players in an online battle royale to top Ryu Hayabusa himself. Not a whole lot of details were released, but players will be able to customize their ordinary ninja into an elite killing machine as they climb the shadowy ninja ladder. In addition, there will be co-operative modes for the ninja out there that feel like working together.
Ninja Gaiden III will also feature the new 'Play Style' system that will enable the more casual players to choose automatic blocks and evasions assists in Hero Mode, while letting core fans enjoy the challenge without any assists in Ninja Mode.
