Capcom have officially announced the Devil May Cry HD Collection. The publisher had previously shot down rumours of its existence, but it looks like fans will have something to look forward to other than the upcoming reboot from Slant Six.
The collection will feature the first three games from the series, all with HD graphics, Achievements and Trophies and the obligatory "bonus content", which as of yet is to be announced. It's also worth noting that the Special Edition of Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening is the one to be included rather than the original, meaning that you can play as Vergil, Dante's brother, and have access to Survival and Turbo modes.
The HD Collection can be picked up on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $39.99, and is set to appear on retail shelves sometime early 2012.
