Capcom has revealed that its upcoming Resident Evil third-person shooter, Resident Evil: Raccoon City, will now be releasing on the 20th of March, 2012 in North America.
The game will take place during the events of Resident Evil 2, but you won't get to play as any familiar protagonists. Instead, you play as Umbrella agents who may well be tasked with killing them.
Earlier in the year, Capcom stated that they expected the spin-off to sell around 2 million units and they've handed development over Western studio Slant Six, who have previously worked on the SOCOM franchise.
To find out more about the game, why not check out our preview from this year's E3. It's certainly not a typical Resident Evil experience.
