The Korean and Japanese MMO, M2 has been accidentally deleted from the internet after a lengthy maintenance period since late October.

Sankando, the Japanese developer responsible for the game, was undergoing maintenance on the 21st of October when a portion of the games code was deleted from the database. The problem then arose because they realised there was no backup made of this particular portion of the code and the game cannot function without it.

This has lead to not only the code being deleted, but also the accounts, details and the entirety of the game's database content. Ouch.
