Mario fans took to New York's Time Square yesterday morning for a special event in anticipation of Nintendo's Super Mario 3D Land for the 3DS. In celebration of the game's launch, Nintendo turned Military Island at Time Square into Mario's 3D world, complete with warp pipes, trampoline coin jumps and even a flag pole finale.
Fans, many of whom showed up in costumes, were treated to early access to the game, which also went on sale at the event, one day earlier than its scheduled release today. Check it out in the video below.
