Razer has gone public about the recent thefts of two Razer Blade prototypes, but have insisted that it will not affect the product's launch.

Razer's director of global product marketing Heathcliff Hatcher mentioned that these prototypes were not fully functional. Razer has decided to go public with this information in order to perhaps recover data from one prototype which the company had performed a thermal test on.

The Razer Blade, aptly named the "world's first true gaming laptop", is currently listed at about $2,800 and is lined up for a Q4 release.
