Square Enix's Spin-off rhythm game Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy got some new details this weekend, including a three-minute trailer of new gameplay footage and some new character details.
The game will feature a boss rush mode, called "Chaos Tower Mode," in which they must plow their way through a score of boss battles. One such boss is the Seraph version of Sephiroth, who is looking a bit too "cutesy" to pose any major threat. Blasting through Chaos Tower Mode may require a little extra help, so Square was sure to include unlockable extra characters like Locke Cole and Seifer Almasy. Characters can be unlocked by collecting crystal fragments, obtained by hitting the right rhythm combos in the game's levels.
Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy releases in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS on February 16.
