MCM Midlands Comic Con has announced that they will have a rather special guest at their show next month - the creator of Final Fantasy, Hironobu Sakaguchi.
Sakaguchi will be attending the expo on the 18th of February, 2012. His latest game, The Last Story, is due to release on the 24th of February, 2012, exclusively on the Nintendo Wii.
Since leaving Square Enix, where he worked on many Final Fantasy titles, Sakaguchi has formed his own development studio called Mistwalker. He originally started off developing games exclusively for the Xbox 360 (Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon), but has since moved onto other platforms.
The Last Story is a result of his continued desire to tell gripping stories to gamers and was praised extensively by reviewers and gamers alike when it was released in Japan last year. It currently has no release date in North America.
This will be seen as a huge coup for the exposition, and they're planning to ask some fan questions live on stage. You can find out more information about his appearance at the official website for MCM Expo.
Be sure to check back to Gaming Union towards the end of the week, when we will have a preview of The Last Story. You won't want to miss it.
