And very English it is. Blades of Time, Konami's continuation of 2009's action adventure title X-Blades, features quite a few notable changes in terms of direction.
The original game featured a scantily clad Ayumi in anime-inspired cel shaded visuals. Blades of Time, however, features a scantily clad Ayumi in very hyper-realistic graphics. The sort you'll find in action games like God of War. To top it off, Ayumi now sports an English accent like a certain other treasure hunter you may know.
Developed by Gaijin Entertainment, Blades of Time is set on a forgotten island filled with long lost secrets. Many of which Ayumi can gain for her own benefit. Featuring an interesting time reversal mechanic, Ayumi is able to travel back in time and exist on the same plane as her past self, effectively creating a team of two to tackle obstacles. It's similar in concept to Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time's time puzzle mechanics.
Blades of Time is currently scheduled for a March 16 release in Europe. No specific date has been set for North America as of writing this story.
