Mistwalker and AQ Interactive's highly anticipated JPRG The Last Story is releasing soon, on February 24 in the UK to be exact. Here's a lovely trailer featuring epic music from non other that the legendary Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu.
Rather than tell more of the story, this new trailer focuses on the game's mechanics, from traversing the town to the strategic gameplay of the battle system. It all looks pretty sweet, and those of us on NA soil are really quite green with envy right now.
Led by Hironobu Sakaguchi, the father of Final Fantasy, his team at Mistwalker and in collaboration with AQ Interactive, The Last Story puts players in control of a group of mercenaries in search of work in the harbour town of Lazulis Island. The game features a variety of mechanics, from a cover system to to long range Focus attacks, and online co-op and competitive modes. You can find out more about the game in our import preview.
So far there has been no word on a North American release for The Last Story, which comes out on February 24 in the UK for the Nintendo Wii.
