Independent developers Trendy Entertainment have announced that Dungeon Defenders, their hit co-op title that melds the best of tower defense and action RPG elements together, is now available for Macs.

In lieu of that, Dungeon Defenders is available to play for free through Steam this weekend until Sunday 1PM PST. The game sports SteamPlay, meaning if you bought the PC version you'll automatically have access to the Mac version at no extra cost, as well as cross-platform play between the two platforms.

Moreover, the latest DLC pack Quest for the Lost Eternia Shards, Part II: Moraggo is available now for PC and Mac, and is scheduled for release on PSN and XBLA on April 10/11. This adds two new missions, Djinn enemies, boss battle, new items, familiars, PVP map, and a whole lot more.

On that note, the game's DLC packs are available for 50 percent off if you decide to purchase them alongside the game this weekend.
