Rumours are circulating that key persons from the development team responsible for the recently revealed Rainbow Six: Patriots have been taken off duty.
Sources from GameInformer state that Creative Director David Sears, Narrative Director Richard Rouse III, Lead Designer Philippe Therien, and Animation Director Brent George have apparently been removed from the team roster.
Speculation on GI's part notes that it may be a result from the mixed reception of the game's debut, and Ubisoft intend to move it in another direction. The debut of Patriots revealed a story-heavy experience, with morality and difficult choices playing a large part in the equation. If you haven't seen the target demo, you can check it out here.
The game is planned for a 2013 release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
