For those of you who refused to go back to Final Fantasy XIV after the subscription fees went up, Square Enix has announced that players will be able to enjoy a 10-day free trial next month.
Those who're eligible will have access to the new Seventh Umbral Era content, new gameplay, as well as the new job system thanks to the 1.22 update. For those of you who have stuck with the game's subscription fees for at least 90 days , you'll be able to enjoy a reduced price while 'Legacy' subscribers will have access to the in-game Chocobo mount when 2.0 launches.
In a rather touching gesture, Square Enix also announced that those who have stuck with the game thus far will get to see their name in the game credits, as they've helped to make the game what it is today.
This free trial will start on May 10th and end May 21st so mark those calendars. If you opted out before, it might be worth seeing how different the world of Final Fantasy XIV is now.
