In the midst of their Rome press event, dubbed Captivate, Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 6, the latest in the Resident Evil franchise, will be coming out earlier than expected.
The game was initially scheduled to release in November, but it will now release in October. Capcom also revealed a few interesting details about the title and released a new "C-Virus" trailer featuring zombies and a whole lot of drama.
Capcom has also confirmed that Resident Evil 6's multiplayer mode will have "drop-in, drop-out" co-op unlike Resident Evil 5. Mercenaries mode will also be made available at the start of the game.
