Konami's pre-E3 show broadcasted last night, releasing a stream of brand new trailers for the company's upcoming hits. Probably one of the biggest of their line-up is Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, which puts players back in the shoes of Raiden, now souped up as a cyborg ninja.
The E3 trailer impresses just after the rebooted title made its debut at the Video Game Awards last year. Fast paced and action packed is an understatement as PlatinumGames Inc. continues to do what they do best, and that's pushing the action game genre. Raiden performs a lot of over-the-top acrobatic and combat maneuvers, some of which fans may recognize from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
Furthermore, the new trailer is accompanied with a new release window. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has been pushed back to early 2013 instead of a Fall 2012 release like originally announced. The game will presumably still release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Here's the trailer. Get that popcorn and enjoy.
