Revealed at the Microsoft presser this morning, Ubisoft had Sam Fisher return to active duty, infiltrating the field with the debut trailer of Splinter Cell: Blacklist, "the most ambitious Splinter Cell yet."
Now leader of the newly formed 4th Echelon, Sam Fisher is tasked with shutting down a concerted terrorist effort dubbed the Blacklist, a countdown for escalating terror attacks on the US, by any means necessary. With 3rd Echelon officially dissolved, Fisher and his unit now report directly to the President of the United States.
Blacklist will feature Kinect support, including the ability to shout and distract enemies. An evolved form of the mark and execute system will also return.
Due 2013, Splinter Cell: Blacklist will release on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
