Sony's New York City HQ has been put up for sale and has its buyer, The Chetrit Group whom will pay $1.1 billion for the building. They have scored a 800,000 square feet of office space on Madison Avenue.
It seems that Sony isn't doing as well as they have been in the past, and are working to get back to the good financial standing. The company will now be earning $770 million and cash and because they will not have such a fancy HQ their operating income will rise by $685 million.
It is unclear where they will be moving to now but some say that it could be somewhere in Manhattan.
