Minecraft: Pi Edition, a modified version of Minecraft "“ Pocket Edition, is now available for the credit card sized Raspberry Pi computer.

For those unfamiliar with the Raspberry Pi, it was created by David Braben in hopes to teach programming to all ages, in particular kids. It's a competent little PC that plugs into your TV, can output high-definition video, create spreadsheets, be used for word processing, and, of course, gaming.

This free version of Minecraft was made to teach programming to anyone who downloads it. It supports multiple programming codes and is 100 percent hackable.

The Raspberry Pi can be purchased in two models here while Minecraft: Pi Edition can be downloaded here.
