A picture sent to Destructoid from an anonymous source has appeared showing off what seems to be the controller for the next PlayStation console. The picture seems to be a pretty safe bet on being legit with developer kits having been out in the wild a while.
The controller is familiar to the original dual shock controller design, but this time the controller has more rounded edges. The start and select button has been replaced with the heavily rumored touch pad on the controller. There also seems to be a move like light at the top and a speaker on the front of the controller. The sticks have also changed quite a bit and are now curved inward.
The wired controller seems to be hooked up to a develop kit so don't except that this will be what the system looks like. How would you feel about this being the new norm for playing PlayStation games in the future? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
We will hopefully know more concrete information with the PlayStation meeting on the 20th of February next week. Stay tuned to Gaming Union for up to date coverage of the event.
