Take Two has said they're confident that Grand Theft Auto V will sell well, despite a delay that's potentially put it in-line to launch alongside the next console generation.
Responding to a question about the postponement, Take Two's executive chairman Strauss Zelnick said "There is not one gamer who's going to sit it out of Grand Theft Auto 5 hoping that something down the road is going to come along that's better. Grand Theft Auto 5 is going to blow everyone away, and it will be in the market in September."
GTA V was initially due to launch earlier in 2013, but Take Two issued a new release date of the 17th of September last week. Following the announcement, they were hit with numerous conspiracy theories from disgruntled consumers.
