The Wallace Wells DLC pack we reported on last week has now been been pushed back from its release nearly a day before it's release on February 5. The DLC pack that adds a new character and online co-op will now be releasing sometime (hopefully) soon.

Ubisoft had this to say about the delay:
[
]The downloadable content for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game has been delayed for fine-tuning and to incorporate feedback from the passionate Scott Pilgrim community. Ubisoft is addressing feedback from the community on the best ways to honor retro games in the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game DLC in an accurate and respectful manner. Ubisoft, and the new team developing the DLC, respect creative properties and, of course, want to be sure to deliver a game experience that is a proper tribute to the Scott Pilgrim franchise.[
]

While this is disappointing news to any fans who have been waiting over the past years for new content, it seems like we are closer than ever to its release. Also it appears that a totally new studio from the original developers are the ones adding onto this beat-em-up. Enjoy this new official trailer while ignoring the now wrong release date at the end.

Also for those keen eyed fans out there, Wallace is a palate swap with Stephen Stills. They share the same attacks, but differ on how each move looks. Have these repeated delays made you lose your faith in this new content? Let us know in the comments below.
