Nintendo has just released a 30MB firmware update for the Nintendo Wii U, which brings the new console's software version up to 2.1.3.
According to a statement from the console maker, firmware update 2.1.3 adds "system stability improvements" and "other adjustments to enhance the user's experience". However, no more information was offered with regards to specific changes.
It's important to note that this isn't the firmware update that was previously promised by Satoru Iwata. That update is planned to release at some point during April, and will add "new features and further improvements to the user experience". In short, this update should improve the speed of the console's menu system, which many have reported as sluggish.
