Last night the Indiegogo Crowd Funding Project for the indie fighting game Skullgirls crossed the $825K mark with one minute to spare. The final total was $829,829. The game is getting not just four, but now it will be getting five new characters all thanks to contributions from a extremely generous community of fans.
Like with the third character, the fifth new character will be one chosen by the fans who have donated at least $1 to the cause. The complete list of possible characters that will be in the poll can be found here. Anyone who still wants to give money to the project can go to Lab Zero's website as they will be accepting Paypal donations for the next two weeks.
Mid-July the first of the five new characters, Squigly will be be releasing along with the PC version of Skullgirls. All of the new characters will be usable on PS3 and 360 as well, but the PC version will be used solely for beta testing each one, so that changes can be based on community input.
