Square Enix Japan has announced that they will be publishing two new versions of Final Fantasy XIII-2 in the territory.
Alongside the customary Ultimate Hits version, which will include a small amount of added downloadable content, Square Enix will be releasing Final Fantasy XIII-2 'Digital Contents Edition'.
The Digital Contents Edition will include the major Coliseum Opponents, quite a few of the different Final Fantasy-related costumes for Sera and Noel, some weapons and also the three major downloadable content episodes for Sazh, Snow and Lightning.
The Ultimate Hits version will retail for 2,940 Yen, while the Digital Contents Edition will cost 5,040 Yen. However, if you're living in Japan and already own a copy of Final Fantasy XIII-2, you will be able to download all of the DLC in a massive bumper bundle for 2,100 Yen, which is about $20. They're both due to release on the 18th of July, 2013.
There's no news yet on a Western release for these versions of the game, but given Square Enix's recent financial troubles, this version could help to drive some more sales for the company.
