This summer the wait for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn finally ends on August 27th. This date has been confirmed as a multiregion release date. Square Enix also showed off the Collector's Edition that will be available for a premium price.
The set comes packaged in a box designed by famed Final Fantasy illustrator Yoshitaka Amano, an 80-page "Art of Eorzea" hardcover art book, a copy of "The Waning of the Sixth Sun" bonus video disc, the "Sounds of Eorzea" album, five collectible character art cards, a security token that can secure user accounts, and four different bonus in-game items in form of a Helm of Light, Baby Behemoth Minion, Coeurl Mount, and a Behemoth Barding. For the PS3 the Collector's Edition will be priced at $79.99 and at $69.99 for PC. Regular editions for both versions will cost you $39.99 and $29.99 for PS3 and PC respectively.
