Take-Two's president, Karl Slatoff, revealed that 2K Games and Rockstar Games won't be attending this year's E3, which means, Grand Theft Auto V won't be shown at the event. However, more details about the game will be revealed throughout the summer.
"This year, our labels will not have a booth on the show floor, both Rockstar Games and 2K have instead decided to focus their marketing and PR efforts on a series of events throughout the spring and summer", said Slatoff.
Despite this, Slatoff did add that the Take Two team will be present at the show, but it won't be doing anything beyond "closed door" demos.
Even though Grand Theft Auto V won't be shown, Slatoff confirmed that the game is on track for its 17th of September release date. Slatoff even went as far as to say that it will be "the biggest and most important launch of the current console generation."
