Ubisoft's CEO Yves Guillemot has made it public that his company are currently working on two Assassin's Creed titles outside of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.
The snippet came from an interview with Kotaku, where Guillemot talked about how they manage having three Assassin's Creed games in development at the same time.
"We are making sure the teams who are creating the different iterations have enough time"”two years, three years, so that they can take risk and they can change the concept enough so that it can be appealing and fresh," he told Kotaku.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is due to release towards the end of this year, only twelve months after the release of Assassin's Creed III. There has been a yearly main series Assassin's Creed release since Assassin's Creed II. This was followed by Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin's Creed: Revelations, which continued the story of Ezio Auditore and Altair.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will release on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and the PS4 and Xbox One.
