With just 2 months away from the release of Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar stated that the visual difference between the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will be "completely negligible," reassuring that players can "expect the same great gameplay experience" regardless of which version they pick up. However, there will be some minor differences between the two versions.
Regardless of which version players choose, a 8GB installation will be required to play the game. The Xbox 360 version will ship on 2 discs, with 1 disc being used for the 8GB installation, while the second disc will be used to actually play the game. The PS3 version will ship on a single Blu-ray disc.
Grand Theft Auto V has only been announced for PS3 and Xbox 360, but Rockstar declined to comment on the possibility of PC or next-gen versions of the game. "We don't have anything to share about the possibility of a next-gen or a PC platform release at this time and we are completely focused on delivering the best possible experience for the consoles people have right now," said Rockstar.
Rockstar also promised to reveal more details regarding on weapon and car customization as well as the game's online multiplayer. Grand Theft Auto V will be released on 17th of September for PS3 and Xbox 360.
