Lab Zero Games has pleased fans by revealing via its Facebook page that Skullgirls will be coming to the PC in the next month.
Alongside announcing that Skullgirls will be arriving on the PC on the 22nd of August, 2013, Lab Zero also said pre-orders will open on Steam on the 1st of August.
Since its release last year as an indie fighting game on Xbox Live Arcade, Skullgirls has gone on to make quite a name for itself. The developers recently did an IndieGogo campaign to try and raise $150,000 in order to add some new characters, but the goal was smashed. Instead of raising $150,000, they managed to raise $828,768, allowing them to add five additional characters via downloadable content.
At present, Skullgirls has eight playable characters, so the new wave of DLC will almost double the roster. It will see the additional of Squigly, Big Band, Eliza, Beowulf and Robo-Fortune. Two of the characters (Beowulf and Eliza) were selected by fan vote.
