Today at Gamescom, Konami finally revealed PES 2014's release date, as well as a few details regarding pre-orders and DLC for the game. PES 2014 will be released on the 19th of September for PC, PS3, 3DS and Xbox 360, a week earlier than its main rival, FIFA 14.
Konami also revealed that those who pre-order at certain retailers will receive codes to unlock classic kits from European and Latin American leagues, including Benfica, Man United, Roma and Milan, while people who pre-order or buy the game digitally, will get third kits for teams like Man United and Juventus, plus multiple Latin American third kits. Furthermore, the publisher also revealed that the game will see its teams, kits, and other DLC updated regularly.
In addition, it was also confirmed that the playable demo of game will be available on September 11 for PlayStation 3 and September 12 for the Xbox 360. The demonstration will be a faithful representation of the final product and will feature several teams available in full game scenarios, as well as a tutorial to introduce players to the new controls on the title.
