While talking about future PS Vita games, Sony quietly announced Borderlands 2 was coming to the PS Vita. Now the highly addictive loot n' shoot game will be making it's portable debut in 2014. Sadly Sony had nothing more than a few bits of information to share and no footage from the game during the conference.
Sony will actually be publishing this title and Iron Galaxy Studios (makers of Street Fighter 3 Online Edition and Divekick) are developing the Vita version of the game. Borderlands 2 on Vita will release in 2012 and feature everything the console versions had, including four player co-op.
If this edition has cross-play/save functionality and is loaded with every piece of released DLC, this could be the ultimate version of the game to play. Would a portable Borderlands 2 on Vita interest you or did you get your fill of the game on consoles and PC? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
