Yesterday, Microsoft revealed that the Xbox One recorded game footage at 720p 30fps and upload them to your friends on Xbox Live, something that is considered an amazing feature by many. Unfortunately, today Microsoft announced that this service won't be available for free.

On the official Xbox website there is a list showing the differences between Gold features on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. According to the list, the DVR feature will be exclusive to Xbox Live Gold members, and not only that, but other features such as Skype, SmartMatch and OneGuide will also be exclusive to these members.

After removing the Xbox One's DRM and Region Locking, it looks like Microsoft is once again doing something that will displease fans, so it would be a wise move to make this feature free to everyone, specially when considering that this feature is free on the PS4. Xbox One will be available this November for $499.
