Namco Bandai has started sign-ups for the Dark Souls II beta for PS3. The first round of beta testing will be open for PS3 owners in North America, Europe, and Australia on October 12, with a second one scheduled for October 27.
Anyone wishing to take part in the beta can either register stating their interest on the PlayStation Network Website, or log in to the store on your console and download the Dark Souls II Beta Registration Ticket under the "Latest Releases" tab.
Beta testers will be selected only out of those who have download the registration ticket. The testing was said to begin on October 5th but it seems as if a extra week is needed to make preparations.
Dark Souls II set to release on PS3, Xbox 360, and PC on March 14, 2014. There is no word about similar beta testing taking place for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game. For now check out the teaser trailer that was shown at Gamescom.
