the Sony Japan Press Conference 2013 wrapped up with a surprise announcement that no one was expect and that was the PS Vita TV. The Vita TV is a system that can fit in your pocket and only measures in at 6cm x 10cm. This new device is not for portable play and will let you play anything you normally would from your Vita on your TV via remote play.
That even includes a slot for your Vita's memory card and game cards to fit into. The big difference with the games/content being on your TV is that you control it all with a Dualshock 3 controller. Vita TV can even play PS4 games from another TV via remote play as well.
The PS Vita TV will release in Japan this November for 9,480 yen. Now we just have to wait and see how long it takes for this to come to the West. Would you be interested in playing Vita games on your TV or even PS4 games without the system being with you? Let us know what you think about the PS Vita TV in the comments below.
