The Last Of Us DLC Detailed, 1st Multiplayer Pack Out Next Month

Naughty Dog has revealed more details regarding the 3 DLC packs for The Last of Us, 2 multiplayer packs and 1 story mode pack. All 3 packs will be included in The Last of Us Season Pass, with the 1st pack releasing next month, on the 16th of October.

The 1st Pack, The Abandoned Territories Map Pack will include 4 new maps:

  • Bus Depot map, a layered map of an overgrown urban environment with wild giraffes in the background.
  • Hometown, a dark, eerie, and moonlit environment "“ the perfect setting for some serious stealth.
  • Bookstore, which features a stacked, bi-level layout adding a highly unique dose of vertical gameplay.
  • Suburbs, a map with dynamic dust storms.

Regarding the other 2 DLC, Naughty Dog revealed that the 2nd DLC will be a story-driven pack with strong ties into the narrative of The Last of Us. This new story will star a new character and is scheduled to be released in December/January. As for the 3rd pack, not much was revealed except that it will be a multiplayer pack and will be released in the first half of 2014.

In addition to these 3 packs, Naughty Dog will also include in the Season Pass 60 different head items for multiplayer characters, ranging from a Nightmare Mask to a Pigskin Hat. The Last of Us Season Pass DLC is available now on PlayStation Store for only €19.99, and by purchasing it, players will save over 75% instead of buying all the DLC individually.
