Ubisoft has announced that Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag will be receiving a Season Pass which will allow gamers to receive specified downloadable content at a 20 percent discount.
The first piece of DLC, which was also announced, will be called Freedom Cry. It focusses on Adewale, a slave who found freedom as a pirate as Edward Kenway's second-in-command. You will play as Adewale as he looks to forge his own path following a shipwreck in Saint-Domingue.
Season Pass owners will also gain access to an exclusive Ship Pack. It will allow you to personalise the Jackdaw with specific items. There will also be new missions, weapons, skills and collectibles added to the single player campaign, as well as new characters for the multiplayer component of the game.
All of these pieces of DLC will be released before March 2014 and they will be available on the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC versions of the game.
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is due to release on the 1st of November across Europe on the PS3 and Xbox 360, with the Wii U version arriving on the 22nd of November. In North America, the game will release on all three platforms on the 29th of October.
