Guillaume Voghel, producer of Batman: Arkham Origins, revealed during the EGX 2013 event that their next Batman game will feature a new difficulty mode after the New Game Plus mode is complete. In addition, the producer also revealed more details regarding the game's additional content.
The story related DLC, entitled "Iniciation," will take players to experience events outside of Gotham City for the first time. Players will take control of Bruce Wayne while he struggles to prove his worth to Kirigi, the ninja who taught the protagonist all his fightning and ninja techniques before he became the Bat.
Batman: Arkham Origins will also feature the "I Am the Night" mode, a difficulty mode that can be unlocked once the player completes the New Game Plus mode, which is unlocked after players complete the game once. In this new mode players will only have one life, which means that if the player dies he will have to restart from the last save point (assuming that the player saved the game).
Batman: Arkham Origins will be released on the 25th of October for PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
