Guerrilla Games has declared that Killzone: Shadow Fall, the next installment into the Killzone franchise, will have a campaign that lasts "well over 10 hours."
The declaration came from Steven ter Heide, as he was answering fan questions on the PlayStation Blog. He responded to a question about the campaign's length by saying the campaign "should last well over 10 hours for most gamers."
The previous two titles have campaigns that were rather on the short side, especially Killzone 3 which could be be easily completed in 5-6 hours. Hopefully this is something that has genuinely been addressed with Shadow Fall.
Guerrilla Games also announced today that Killzone: Shadow Fall had gone gold ahead of the PS4's launch in North America and Europe. It's due to be a launch title in both regions and following the delay of DriveClub, is now heading the line-up as Sony's main first-party title alongside Knack.
