Even thought the PS3's life cycle might be coming to an end soon, Sony isn't ready to give up on the console just yet, and has announced that a new DualShock 3 will be available this December in Japan. Although this new DualShock is dubbed 'Crystal DualShock 3,' the controller actually lacks color, being a transparent controller.
According to Siliconera, the Crystal DualShock 3 will cost ¥ 5.500, around $55. In addition, this new controller will not only be compatible with the PS3, but with the PS Vita TV as well.
The Crystal DualShock 3 will be available in Japan on the 19th of December. At the moment, Sony has yet to confirm if the controller will be released outside Japan.
