Ubisoft has announced that South Park: The Stick of Truth has been delayed until March 2014. The comedy RPG was originally scheduled to release this December, with Ubisoft yet to give a reason for the delay.
The development of South Park: The Stick of Truth has suffered various delays since its announcement back in 2011. The game, written by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, creators of the South Park, resisted the closure of THQ and saw the game's rights being bought by Ubisoft.
"We always wanted the game to feel like you're actually in an episode of South Park. Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we're excited to say it's taken way longer than we thought it would," said Stone and Parker.
However, this is not all bad news. To help players deal with the delay, Ubisoft released a brand new trailer for the game. South Park: The Stick of Truth will be released on the 4th of March in North America, and on the 7th of March in Europe.
