Alien: Isolation was announced by SEGA during CES 2014 and it's being developed by Creative Assembly, the creators of the Total War franchise.
It was revealed to be in development for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, but the Nintendo Wii U was omitted from the list. Apparently, there's a reason for that and this was confirmed when the question was asked on Twitter.
In response, the official Twitter for Alien: Isolation gave this reply: "Right now, we don't have plans to put the game on Wii U."
This will be seen as another blow for Nintendo's latest home console, but from what's been released so far about the game, this could very much wipe away the disappointment that surfaced following the release of Aliens: Colonial Marine last year.
There has been no full release date announced thus far, but the game is expected to release towards the end of 2014.
