Following the appearance of listings for an Xbox One version of Diablo 3 on the websites of various retailers, Blizzard has not ruled the port out.
Retailers such as Best Buy Canada and Argos in the UK listed the product, which hasn't been officially announced by Blizzard. At present, Diablo 3 is available on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, with a PS4 version said to be in development.
In response to this news, Blizzard issued a statement saying: "One of our goals is to bring Diablo 3 to as many players as possible, but we don't have any other platform announcements to share at this time."
The statement implies that Blizzard could be working on a port for the Xbox One, but they are unable to share the news at the moment.
In other Diablo 3 news, the first expansion pack for the game, dubbed Reaper of Souls, is due to release on the 25th of March, 2014 on PC and Mac. For more information about this expansion, check out our impressions piece which talks about what Blizzard are bringing to the table.
