Following their decision to cease production of Star Wars 1313, Disney has now decided to let the trademark expire.
Disney closed the LucasArts video game studio upon their acquisition of the parent company from George Lucas. As a result, Star Wars 1313 was put on hold. It's now been revealed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office that the company has led the trademark expire. Their listing states that the project was "abandoned because no Statement of Use or Extension Request timely filed after Notice of Allowance was issued."
The game was initially shown off during E3 2012, with it said to be developed on a modified Unreal Engine 3. The premise would see you playing as Boba Fett, so it would be very weapon/gadget focussed.
