The OUYA suffered a loss as their co-founder, Muffi Ghadiali, left the company. Though the exact details were not given concerning his departure, the OUYA team was quick to respond to this event.

OUYA stated to TechCrunch, who inquired of the departure, that "OUYA is focusing more on the next phase of the business and product development. We've made some recent changes including the departure of Muffi Ghadiali who was invaluable during the launch of OUYA. As is to be expected, OUYA is an ever-changing business, and as we continue to grow our needs shift accordingly."

Muffi Ghadiali had previously worked with companies such as HP and Synaptics. He was even part of the team at Amazon that created the ever popular Kindle.

Though the OUYA team remains positive, the departure of a key staff member certainly does not portray the company in a good light along with the system's poor sales.
