Katsuhiro Harada, the creator of Tekken, has announced that he will be revealing 2-3 new titles this year and they won't be part of the Tekken franchise.
Harada was responding to a question on Twitter relating to announcements which were claimed. Harada responded by confirming and saying "Probably I'll announce New 2 or 3 titles in this year. But it's not Tekken. Tekken announcement = secret now!"
This points to either a new Soul Calibur game, or some completely new properties from Namco Bandai - something which would be very welcome. Harada also steered clear of mentioning any platforms connected to the new games.
At the same time, Harada also dismissed a port of Tekken Revolution on the PS Vita. Although the game has now been downloaded over 2.5 million times on the PS3, Harada claimed "it's not enough" to warrant developing a version for the Vita.
